Founding Director, Global Leaders in Construction Management

Dr. Ibrahim Odeh is the research director and founder of the Global Leaders in Construction Management (GLCM) research initiative at Columbia University, where he teaches courses in the area of construction engineering and management for the department of Civil Engineering and Engineering Mechanics at Columbia University.

His research focuses on studying and analyzing the international construction and infrastructure industry and developing analyses of these markets. Dr. Odeh is also a consultant and an advisor for several global companies and agencies. Dr. Odeh received his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering with a focus on Construction Management from the University of Illinois. He also holds an MBA degree with an emphasis on finance from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota.
